How My Journey Began

My Education

I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition, an accredited internship in dietetics and am a regulated as a Registered Dietitian by the College of Dietitians of Ontario. I hold a Master of Science in International Health Management and Leadership. In addition, I am trained in intuitive eating, cognitive behaviour therapy and motivational interviewing and have earned a post graduate certificate in Mental Health.

I am also a Certified Diabetes Educator, having satisfied the certification board requirements and examinations. My work is published in peer review journals, magazines, and clinical best practice guidelines. I am also a media spoke’s person or the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Extensive travels have introduced me to different cultures, foods and lifestyle which contributes to my practice as a Registered Dietitian.

My philosophy is that an enjoyable and healthy relationship with food is the corner stone to good health and longevity. Learning to nourish our bodies provides the foundation needed for increased energy and weight management in a healthy and sustainable way based on science. The focus of my practice is women’s health across the life span. With a background in clinical dietetics, I can personalize my approach to meet the therapeutic needs of my clients, everybody’s journey is unique.
